Hello!
Murray is a South African professional fine art landscape and nature photographer (film & digital) with more than 10 years of image making experience. He is a deep thinker with interests in wildlife & conservation, philosophy, design, cooking, and more. He has lived on 4 continents, most recently in Scotland for 7 years, where he completed a Masters of Architecture. All of this translates into Murray’s unique contemplative and introspective approach to photography.
Murray currently lives out of a bespoke, off-grid, photography adventure van while making images for his long-term photo project in Scotland.
His work is available as the highest quality prints including Fine Art Acrylic Prints, Fine Art Paper Prints, and ChromaLuxe Metal Prints. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact Murray directly and he would be more than happy to assist.

Connecting With Nature Through Photography
Appreciating nature is at the core of my approach to practicing and teaching photography. Murray believes in developing a conversation between nature and the photographer through careful observation and learning. Landscape and nature photography is his way of connecting with wilderness all over our planet, and also to give back. With the goal of being carbon-neutral, your support via prints and workshops plants trees.
Murray is most occupied at the moment by two themes, water and Scotland’s Geology; these themes are slowly developing into long-term projects. While he loves travel and adventure, it seems more important than ever to appreciate locality and find a spiritual or existential connection to nature in your immediate environment. Murray’s water portfolio seems to be wide ranging in its location, while Scotland’s Geology is developing as a collection of semi-local images.
